Snap Inc.

Snap Inc. is a camera company. Its products include Snapchat and Spectacles. I worked as a Software Engineer on Creative Tools that help users in making their snaps/pictures relevant for the friends they share it with. I wrote code across the stack (Android, iOS, Backend & occasionally Web) with a strong focus on Android. My responsibilities included building new & innovative features, improving code quality, writing automated tests, app profiling, performance tuning, etc.

Spotify

Spotify is one of the biggest music streaming service, having over 100 million active users.

I worked as a Software Engineering Intern in the Monetization/Growth team. The monetization team focuses on creating standout promotional experiences for users, artists and brands. My primary job involves working on the Android client to create seamless experiences that drive the monetization and growth efforts of Spotify.

Some of the highlights of my internship are:
• Developed an internal tool for the Android client to help in the verification of translations across devices and locales. [Android, RxJava]
• Built the backend system required to support the tool. [Docker, Apollo, Java8]
• Delivered internal talks to teach upcoming Android technologies
• Participated in a week long program called "Data University" to pick up necessary skills to be a Data Engineer [Hadoop, Scalding, GCP].

I am pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at Columbia with my specialization in Software Systems.

Deloitte Consulting is the world's largest management consulting firm in Strategy & Operations, Human Capital and Technology Services.

I worked on the technical and functional aspects of Salesforce.com, Salesforce 1 and Big Machines implementations for the biggest Technology companies. My major focus areas include Apex and Visual Force developments and integration of Salesforce and Big Machines with external systems. I also did a considerable amount of development for Salesforce Wear- the wearables platform for Salesforce.com and Salesforce 1- the mobile offering of the Force.com platform.

Gray Routes Innovative Distribution

Gray Routes Innovative Distribution LLP, founded in March 2013, is an agile startup with a transformational agenda. Leveraging the immense power of GPS technology to unearth innovative business models, Gray Routes provides proprietary mobile app solutions and distribution technology consulting to some of the largest FMCG, telecom, food services, e-Commerce and logistics companies transforming their sales and distribution management systems.Gray Routes has been recognized nationally as one among the Top 75 businesses out of over 14000 startups in India's largest and most well known startup workshop - the Economic Times Power of Ideas 2012, conducted jointly by ET, IIM Ahmedabad CIIE, and Department of Science and Technology.

I was a part of the founding team of interns working on products which have now been patented and were demoed in front of angel investors. Gray Routes then went on to raise $100,000 in angel funding.Some of the early versions of the products that I worked on like GoStocky & GrayFos included features like route optimization, supply chain management,inventory management, face recognition & geofencing.

AIESEC Mumbai

AIESEC is an international non-governmental not for profit organization that provides young people with cross-cultural global internship and volunteer opportunities and leadership development experiences on campus. It is the world's largest youth run organization.

I was a part of the Mumbai chapter of organization. In my term at AIESEC, I regularly seized team-work and leadership opportunities. Some of my contributions to AIESEC was my term as the Organizing Committee President for events like E-Summit 2012 and Nexus-Stakeholders Summit 2013. My job involved leading a team of over 20 members and taking care of all activities which are involved in executing an event.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is an engineering and research institute in Mumbai, India.It is the first and the oldest private engineering institute affiliated to the federal University of Mumbai, which is one of the oldest universities of Asia. TSEC is consistently ranked among the top 1% of the private engineering colleges of India.

I graduated as a Bachelor of Engineer in Information Technology from TSEC in 2013. My curriculum focused on systems and software development , with courses on Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computational Mathematics, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, Networking Technologies, Programing for mobile and remote computers, etc.
